Steel Core Transformers
ISE produces customer-specific steel core transformers from a few Watts up to 40 kVA. For this, they use grain-oriented silicon steel with very low Watt losses, steel thickness from 0.35 to 0.15 mm. Suitable for working frequencies from 50 Hz to 10kHz. ISE has special welding equipment on hand to efficiently weld the steel bands for these transformers.
