Our development engineers have extensive experience in the area of switch mode power supplies. In dialog with their customers, ISE develops and advises in the design of inductive components and DC/DC converters. For this we apply our years of experience in the area of high-grade magnetic materials, the applicable international standards, and effective winding and assembly techniques. 

For the most common IC's (such as for Linear Technology, National Semiconductor and Power Integrations), ISE has developed a standard series of coils and transformers. Additionally, mainly customer specific solutions are being designed based on these standard components. By means of a special grinding machine, air gaps are being ground into ferrite cores 'in-house' in order to achieve specific required AL-values. This is especially important for flyback transformers.
